What are One Day Crowns?

If you are a candidate for a dental crown, our dentist will evaluate the tooth in question and make any necessary adjustments. Decay will be cleaned away, and the tooth will be shaped. If a root canal is needed first, that may be performed at a separate appointment, or it may be able to be done at the same time. A local anesthetic will be used to keep you comfortable during this process, but because the crown will be applied at the same visit, you will only need one shot.
We then take a digital impression of your prepared tooth. This impression is used by our system to design your crown. We customize each aspect of your restoration to ensure it is an exact match to your teeth. The design is sent to the milling unit, which creates the crown using a single block of porcelain for maximum strength and durability. Give us a call today to learn more or to schedule your appointment with our team.
